Arthroscopic surgery, also known as arthroscopy, is a surgical procedure to visualize, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint using a specialized instrument known as an arthroscope. An arthroscope is a flexible fiberoptic tube that contains a small lens or camera and a lighting system to magnify and illuminate structures inside a joint.
Shoulder arthroscopy may be used to diagnose and treat conditions such as rotator cuff tears, impingement, and instability through tiny keyhole incisions.
Knee arthroscopy may be used to diagnose and treat conditions such as a torn meniscus, cruciate ligament injury, or cartilage damage through tiny keyhole incisions.

Dr. Muxlow takes patients at 7:00 AM. Wish all other physicians would start that early. People get to see him before they have to be at work. I told him it was great him being in at 7:00 AM.

If you need care and or surgery for your knee, Dr. Muxlow is one to see. He had appt. within a week, which was appreciated, though I know he's booked 4-6 wks out for surgery.
